Orthodontic Assistant Information
As an orthodontic assistant, you will be brightening smiles
and helping improve patient dental health. As an assistant,
you will be working with the head orthodontist to help
with the alignment of teeth which include adjusting braces.
They may also have the responsibility of taking x-rays,
sterilize and arrange dental equipment, and may also make
dental impressions.
In addition, they may also lend a helping hand with clerical
work for the office. This may include record keeping and
organizing appointments.
Some people may take a position as a orthodontic assistant
and may learn on the job. However, graduates of a orthodontic
assistant schools are more successful in landing a job.
